If video rights are owned by more than one Content Provider, this territorial policy must be updated in our system.
How to claim split rights
Use this form to submit your request: https://ops.vevo.com/splitrights/
Fill out the information in the form, including the territories and territory codes.
Territories: USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, etc.
ISO Coded Territories: US, MX, PR
- ISO codes must be Inclusive and unique. All territories claimed must be declared No WW. ex., DOMTOM, BENELUX, etc.
- ISO codes must be in ALPHA-2 Code format
Please follow the below template. If you are unsure of the territory codes you need to select please see an up-to-date list here: http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/country_code_list.htm
Vevo's Content Ops team will contact the Content Provider that we have listed in our Backstage system as the owner of the ISRC's rights to confirm the split.
When we have confirmation from this Content Provider, we will apply the rights in our Backstage system, add your rights to our internal tracking spreadsheet, and update you that your rights have now been applied.
You must then go into YouTube CMS and apply your ownership for the territories where you have rights.
FAQ
Vevo has confirmed that the rights have been applied but my video is not live in those countries.
Vevo will apply the rights at the claim level, but the video needs to have asset ownership applied by the requesting content providers on YouTube as well. Please find details of how to claim this at the link below.

If you believe you have added your ownership correctly, please contact content@vevo.com
We can then check who has claimed the video on YouTube as well as confirm the rights in our Backstage system.

Rights may not have been released by the content provider that has applied their ownership of the video. Please contact other content providers or contact content@vevo.com to confirm.
