Below are some common issues to help us to troubleshoot from both sides.
I have inserted a video but this appears to have failed
Please contact Vevo Content Operations and we will be able to troubleshoot the following areas
- That your delivery has included the correct video, image and manifest information.
- That our Admin system has correctly synced with YouTube.
- That the delivery has been processed correctly in our YouTube CMS.
I have inserted a video but I now I want to change the version but wish to keep the same ISRC
Please contact Vevo Content Operations and we can then delete the video for you.
You will then be able to re-upload this video with the same ISRC by delivering via your usual deliver process.
How do I delete a video?
Please contact Vevo Content Operations and we can delete the video from our Admin system- this will mean that the video will be removed from YouTube and lose any views or comments associated with this video.
Alternatively, Vevo Content Operations can set the video to private on youtube which will mean the video will no longer be available to the public but can be made live again by the Vevo Content Operations if needed.
How do I update a video?
In order to update a video please make the desired metadata changes in Vevo's Admin system then select the update button on the top right corner of the screen.
My video was accidentally deleted, how can I get the views back?
Fortunately, YouTube will keep deleted videos in their system for roughly two weeks before purging the videos entirely.
If videos with significant views are deleted, we can submit a reinstate request with our YouTube Partner Managers to take care of this.
