Vevo has delivered content to YouTube using XML2 spec which was officially sunset in January 2020. Prior to this, in late-2019, Vevo transitioned all Content Providers to DDEX-spec deliveries. The information requirements for DDEX are different from XML2 and require some additional information.
NOTE: YouTube DDEX Deliveries are different from Content Provider deliveries to Vevo. While YouTube only supports DDEX deliveries from Vevo, Vevo still supports XML2 in addition to DDEX. If you have questions, please open a ticket. |
Partner Code is now replaced by DDEX DPID
Your YouTube CMS Partner Code has now been replaced by a DDEX Party ID (or DPID). This code needs to be provided to both Vevo and YouTube (contact your YouTube Partner Manager)*. Organizations can obtain a DPID at http://dpid.ddex.net/.
*If you deliver to Vevo via a third-party aggregator or service (Vydia, FUGA, etc.), the DPID of that provider will cover your content. No action should be necessary.
