TLDR - channel names cannot be changed. But there is a workaround! See below.
*Vevo also does not delete channels.
Going through a rebrand?
If the OAC and Vevo channel are merged, the easiest way to "change" the channel name, is to update the OAC channel name, which is easily managed while logged in to the OAC. If the OAC and Vevo channel are merged, viewers are rarely if ever routed through the Vevo channel. Changing the OAC name for merged channels is a quick and easy fix.

Spelling Error in Channel Name
If the channel has no live videos - please submit a new channel request with the correct spelling. If the channel has videos, please continue reading the steps below.
If you're adamant about changing the Vevo channel name:
In short, you'll need to create a new Vevo channel with the new name, and then transfer any videos you have from the old channel to the new channel.
You will need to follow these steps:
1. Submit a channel creation request for the new name. Content Ops will create your channel.
2. If there are videos on the old channel with the old name, you will need to submit a chown request. (Link: Chowning process and FAQ)
3. Content Ops will assist you with completing the chown request - subscribers do not transfer over, only the videos.
4. If the old Vevo channel is merged with the artist OAC, you'll need to contact YouTube to unmerge the old Vevo channel, and merge the new Vevo channel with the OAC.
