Chapters allows a viewer to skip to a precise moment in the video, specified by the content owner. The user can hover-over the progress bar to see the name of the chapter, as well as the timestamp.
Add chapters to make it easier for the viewer to scrub to their favorite moments in a music video or sections in an interview.
How can I use Chapters on our music videos?
The video Chapters feature is available on all channels/videos in your network.
To add a chapter you simply add the timestamp and the title of your chapter in your description. The timestamp can either be added in your description in Backstage or via your automation feed.

To opt into video chapters, make sure that the first timestamp you list starts with 00:00. Your video should have at least three timestamps listed in ascending order. The minimum length for video chapters is 10 seconds.
What are the character limits on chapter titles?
The hover-over title has a limit of 49 characters followed by "..." if truncated. Selected chapter will show the title with a max of 70 characters. The title in the description will show a max of 70 characters.
