How to Update the Channel Description Follow

You can use the Channel Description field in Backstage to introduce the artist to its audience with one quick update!

1. Go to the Channel search page under the YouTube section.
   
   
   
2. Search and click into the desired channel name.
   
   
   
3. Scroll to the "Description" section under About.
   
   
   
4. Add the desired description. 
   
   
   
5. IMPORTANT: You must also publish the changes to the channel or the description will not be successfully sent to the channel. You can make any other changes to this channel before submitting.
   
   
   
6. When you see the "Publish queued!" banner, you're all set! It will take some time to process these changes, so please check back.
   
   
   
7. Once it's finished processing, you'll see the description in the "About" section of the channel on YouTube!
