How to Update a Video's Description Follow

Vevo automatically provides a brief description for each video, but you can make changes to it easily in Backstage.

Note: Some special characters like < and > are not accepted.

1. Go to the Video search page.
   
   
2. Search for the video you'd like to update.
   
   
   
3. Click into the video you wish to edit.
   
   
   
4. Under the "Youtube" section, you can edit the Description box.
   
   
   1. Note: There is a 5,000 character limit. If you use tabs instead of spaces, that may add to the character count after processing.
      
      
5. Click "Publish" to save the changes. Reminder: You can make any other necessary changes at this time and publish them all at once.
   
   
   
   
6. You'll see a "Success!" banner if there were no issues while the changes are processing.
